This is where you slow down, breathe deeper, and experience Montana in a way that lingers long after you leave. Your family’s next ‘remember when…’ starts here.
The space
From the moment you walk through the door, the lake greets you like an old friend—calm, endless, and impossibly beautiful. Massive windows frame the water so perfectly that it feels like the lake is part of the home itself. The world quiets. Shoulders drop. Time slows. Here, the rhythm of life becomes gentler, softer, and profoundly peaceful. 🌅 A HOME DESIGNED FOR TOGETHERNESS—With Space to Breathe Guests come for the lake, but they leave talking about how this home felt—restorative, grounding, and full of connection. Days unspool more slowly. Conversations run deeper. Laughter seems to linger in the air. This home makes it easy to be together: meals around the big table, games and giggles in the upper retreat, lingering mornings on the decks. Yet everyone still has a quiet corner to slip away to. It’s togetherness without overwhelm—comfort, but elevated. 🔥 MAIN LIVING SPACE — The Heartbeat of the Home Step into a living space designed to draw people in and keep them close. Warm wood tones, a glowing gas fireplace, and expansive lake views create a space that feels instantly comforting. Whether you're gathered for a cozy movie night on the 55" smart TV or simply curled up together with a bottle of wine, this room holds you. But the true magic lives in the two lake-view chairs—perhaps the most loved spot in the entire home. Sit down, and it’s as if the world hushes around you. Watch the sunrise pour gold across the lake, storms roll in with drama, or the water smooth to glass at dusk. Guests often say it’s in these chairs that their vacation truly begins—a quiet, breathtaking reminder of why moments like these matter. 🛌 BEDROOMS — Rest, Recharge, Restore PRIMARY SUITE — Your Private Retreat After a day of lake adventures, hiking, or skiing, the primary suite becomes a peaceful sanctuary, curated for deep rest and slow mornings. • King bed with premium bedding • Private lake-view deck for sunrise moments • En-suite bathroom • Luxury robes • Private staircase to the hot tub • Nespresso maker for quiet, personal mornings • Workspace for peaceful productivity Imagine waking to shimmering lake light, sipping coffee wrapped in a cozy robe, and wandering straight to the hot tub while the world is still quiet. It becomes your own quiet retreat, ready to recharge you for whatever tomorrow brings. BUNK AREA — A Kids' Memory Maker This bunk area is where the laughter starts and the adventures continue long after the day outside is done. It’s a space kids instantly claim as their own. Where cousins, siblings, and friends can stay up whispering, imagining, and making memories that become part of the trip itself. • Four twin beds • Personal plug-ins at each bunk. LOFT AREA — A Secret Hideaway Perched above the upstairs retreat, this loft feels like a secret hideaway — the kind of spot kids and teens love to claim as their own. • Queen Bed • Fun, treehouse-style layout 🎮 UPSTAIRS RETREAT — Where Family Moments Come Alive. Connection happens naturally here. • 60-in-1 retro arcade • Heated ping-pong table • Large sectional • 75" smart TV • Wii console It’s where laughter erupts, friendly competition thrives, and everyone returns home talking about “that night in the game room.” 🍳 KITCHEN & DINING — Made for Memory-Making The chef’s kitchen—complete with gas range and island seating for six—makes cooking a joy rather than a chore. With the Blackstone grill, multiple seating areas, and panoramic views, you’ll find yourself wanting every meal outside. 🚤 LAKEFRONT FUN — A Waterfront You Can Feel Step out to a lakefront that feels alive with possibility. Your private lakeside setup includes: • Paddleboards • Kayaks • Canoe • Floating island • Fishing rods • Six Adirondack chairs on the dock Evenings are unforgettable—watch the sky melt into color while soaking in the hot tub, warming up by the fire table, or roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Here, the water becomes part of your story—calm, playful, and endlessly inviting. ⛷️ EASY SKI ACCESS — Skip the Traffic One of the hidden luxuries of this location: You can reach Whitefish Mountain Resort without driving through downtown bottleneck. The home was everything and more! Ten of our friends enjoyed the Glacier National Park hike day and rested in this home with absolutely breathtaking views, cozy rooms, stunning views from the multilayered decks, enjoyed table tennis, watching football in the living room, cooking meals in the big kitchen, grilling steaks on the blackstone grill, and enjoying meals and conversations on their comfortable furniture. Each day we felt the house gave us more than we expected. The hot tub fit easily 6 of us. And though the hot tub had electric issues (turned off after just 5-15 minutes of getting in), it’s not a big deal because it was still a great experience and the host helped troubleshoot it quickly. They even provided us bear spray for free when we requested additional cans. The check and in and out instructions were clear, and the home felt like a home away. Thank you Rich and team for taking care of us. Love the home so much, can’t wait to rent again!

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The house and private dock were stunning, everything was beautifully maintained, and the views made it the perfect place to relax and spend time together. The host was so attentive, kind, and responsive throughout our stay, and provided so many great local recommendations that made our trip even better. We visited for a girls’ getaway and couldn’t have picked a better place, but we were already talking about coming back with our families because it would be perfect for that too. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway!

Rich and his wife were as friendly and accommodating hosts as you could ever hope for. The location of the house is amazing and it includes amenities that very few airbnbs think about providing. We will most certainly be back again.

Loved the house and the location. It felt private even though there were homes on both sides (mainly due to the trees framing the house perfectly). Rich was wonderful. Best host we've ever had.

We had a wonderful, relaxing week. Fantastic view with stunning sunsets every night. The dock is wonderful. Loved jumping in and swimming in the clear water every day. Enjoyed the canoe and chairs on the dock. Dinner on the deck overlooking the lake every night. Gracious rooms. Enjoyed the ping pong table with view of lake! Felt remote and quiet yet very close to town. Upscale neighborhood but not overly fancy. The fresh flowers were a very nice touch. Great attention from the owner by text. Would love to go back for a longer visit.

This multi-level home was perfect for our four-person family visit. It was super-hot during our stay and the two AC units kept us mostly cool during the peak heat. The kitchen is way better stocked and equipped than most AirBnb's. Rich was a fabulous and communicative host. The two SUPs and kayaks are fun. Fabulous place overall.

My family and I spent the winter holidays at this home and truly enjoyed ourselves. Between simply taking in the great view of the lake and mountains, cooking a family meal in the expansive kitchen, playing a some games in front of the fireplace, ping-pong competitions or watching a movie with the family...it made for an enjoyable time for all. The location just outside of town is also perfect and just down the road from Big Mountain. Lastly, the property owner was so incredibly supportive of any questions we had and was readily available with guidance and recommendation that one doesn't always receive with vacation rentals. Kudos all

This property could not have been anymore lovely than it was. The beauty of the surrounding with the breathtaking views of Whitefish Lake, the hills, mountains, and woods beyond provided the perfect setting for a home that was more charming, tasteful, thoughtful, soulful, and beautiful than anything for which we could have hoped. All this was only surpassed by the caring attention of the meticulous homeowner who had welcomed us kindly and with all the information we could have needed and who made us feel fully supported with any questions we posed although there was nothing that really required any action. I can only say that we are searching for the very next opportunity to return to this exceptional property with exceptional hosts.

Lake views, multiple expansive spaces, fire pits and espresso machine. Mixed in with the unusual proximity to restaurants despite a very secluded feel and you have the recipe for a great getaway. The house makes you want to move in from the instant you settle in. My adult children and I found multiple spaces to get away from each other for work while having a nice central area to gather for meals, games and cooking. The pictures don’t do the space justice since they don’t capture the high ceilings, the lake views from multiple floors and a variety of outdoor hang out spaces. If you are planning to spend lots of time at Glacier, Whitefish Lake is about 30 min away, Logan Pass more than an hour. Communications with the host were very quick via text message. The place is in pristine shape.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Whitefish Montana! The house is recently renovated and nicely decorated with updated appliances, good heat and a/c. It was very clean and there were extra towels provided. The house is right on the lake. There is a private dock with chairs where one can sit and watch the sunset. There are paddle boards and kayaks provided. We were there during the last week of June and it was somewhat rainy and cool for most of the week. Despite this, the views are lovely and there were many comfortable places to sit and read or play board games (of which there were many). The house has a ping pong table and arcade games as well as a plethora of movies, so even our teenagers were engaged and had a great time! We were very pleased to have made this choice!! The owner was generous with recommendations and helpful hints about the house! He responded promptly to any questions and was very interested in making sure that our vacation week was successful! Whitefish was a charming town with some good restaurants and cute shops. The house is 45 minutes from Glacier National Park. The hiking and biking in Glacier was phenomenal. There are zip-lines and a high ropes course at the Whitefish Mountain Resort, as well as a hiking trail so this is a great destination even in the summer.

We absolutely loved renting this home right on Whitefish Lake! What a find! Gorgeous views! They think of everything and have the place set up so you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is so huge....the pictures truly don't do it justice....we could have fit a second family on top of our family of 7 in the home. Multiple loft areas with beds, bunk beds, the kids each had their own space. The dock was awesome! Amazing chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment, floating pod. They have tons of board games, an arcade table, Ping pong, wii, plenty of movies. We truly enjoyed this vacation. It was close enough to town and to Glacier NP, while maintaining the isolation and social distance we needed this summer (Early August 2020)! We will definitely be back!

This is your dream Montana contemporary lake house . The views from all levels of the lake are spectacular. If you love water sports the extensive dock and Adirondack chairs make it the perfect place to have morning coffee or an evening glass of wine . There is room to park a boat and there are paddle boards and a canoe ... The home is very well appointed with Mountain Modern furnishings. Beds linens towels are all top quality . There is a game room with a loft bed complete with vintage PacMan and ping pong TV etc . The kitchen is large beautiful and well stocked . We had 9 adults and everyone was very comfortable . There are many flights of stairs to the water and 2 in the house . So if there is a mobility issue then this would be difficult . This house house truly is the best
